Beginner's Guide - Basic Screen Guide

Basic Screen Guide

Here, we'll be looking at the basic components of your main screen.

1.     Basic screen guide

This section is on the small menus displayed while playing LOH

Main Screen

1.     Information bar on the upper left

The information bar on the upper left displays (from left to right):

Morale
Gold
Hearts

Click on the [+] sign next to each icon to buy more from the shop.

2.     Quest bar on the upper right

The quest bar on the upper right displays the quest you’re currently on, and what you need to do in order to complete the quest.

A completed quest will be displayed in green.

If there isn’t a quest bar, just check the scroll menu and click on the ‘Quests’ icon. You’ll see a quest with an exclamation mark on it. Click on the quest to proceed.

3.     Scroll menu to the right
The scroll menu to the right displays several menus. The menus are (from top to bottom):

Heroes
Hire
Fuse/Sell
Quests
Inventory
Friends
Guild
Map
Tower
Infinite Battle
Coliseum
Explore
Event

We'll provide more detail on each icon on the scroll menu, but for now, it's good to know that you'll be putting each and every menu to good use while you're playing the game.

4.     Menu bar to the lower right
The menu bar on the lower right displays (from left to right):

Shop menu
Message board
Main menu

5.     Chat icon to the lower left
You can access the general chat window and your guild chat window through the chat icon on the lower left.

Battle Screen

Tip: During battles, you can move your screen around to view the battle from different angles.

1.     Lower left - Skill effect description
The box will display the effects of you or your enemy’s skills.

2.     Lower right – menu bar
The menu bar contains several menus (from left to right)

Retreat: leave battle (this will result in losing the battle)
Skip: allows you to skip a turn
Move: allows you to move one Hero from one location to another
Get Help: You can hire a temporary (AI) hero from your friends using the help button. When clicking on the help button, this window will display:

Select a hero you’d like to use for the battle – the hero won’t be controllable, but will fight automatically for you
(A small gray text box with the words A.I will be displayed on your fiend’s assisting hero, simply meaning that they will be controlled automatically).

Auto: This allows your heroes to fight automatically for you. It can be used after reaching a certain level. However, keep in mind that the heroes will use fury as fast as if fills up.

3.     Lower right corner – Fury stats
The globe shows how much fury you hold. You can gain fury by giving/receiving damage, losing heroes, or by using certain skills or traits. You will need fury to activate your Heroes’ skills.

4.     Skill info
The small box in front of the fury stat globe shows your hero’s skill. The numbers on the box represent how much fury you need to use the skill.

Tapping on the skill box will display details about the skill on the upper center of the screen.
